Family History Project:  Huggins and Marshall families
of the parish of Aghaloo, county Tyrone and Blackwatertown, county Armagh, Ireland

Welcome and introduction:
We are a group of hobbyist family historians, hailing from different parts of the globe and sharing a common interest in the history of the Huggins and Marshall families originating from the parish of Aghaloo and from Blackwatertown in 18th and 19th century Ireland. We invite you to explore our compilations of biographical information about our Huggins and Marshall ancestors, and our online collection of data sorted by type or source.
This family history project is a work-in-progress.  We have outlined the status of our collective research, including a list of data still needed and research currently under way.
If any of the information in these pages has assisted you in making an ancestral connection, we would love to hear from you! If you are connected to the Huggins or Marshall families of Blackwatertown or the parish of Aghaloo, please consider joining our family history project team.

Please respect the considerable efforts and the expenditures made by our Contributors to compile these biographies and data files.  Collectively, this family history record represents many years' work by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. We have spent countless hours poring through documents and squinting at microfilm readers in record offices and libraries. We have also expended personal funds on travel expenses to Northern Ireland and Scotland, in order to undertake research locally, and to purchase registered documents, books, inter-library loans, software, computer equipment and peripheral equipment, database subscriptions, and commercial research for specialized subjects.
